The Faction wishes Olympic athletes from all countries good luck and success in the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.

Kate Mulgrew will star alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths when Equus opens on Broadway next month. She will portray Hester Salomen for the 22-week run. Previews begin 5 September 2008 with Opening Night on 25 September 2008. The play will run until 8 February 2009.

The Las Vegas Star Trek Convention opened today at the LV Hilton. The ST:Voyager cast is well represented this year with Sunday practically being Voyager day! Here’s who’s coming and when (as far as we can tell):

Friday: Alice Krige (for the Borg lovers out there!)

We currently have 3 drabble challenges open on the forum:  Kissed on the Bridge, Emotion (with visual aid), and Virginity.  First response posted for each challenge earns 100 ranking points.

Yesterday we added a brand new gallery to the forum along with a database of links to websites of interest to J/7 fans.  Both are visible only to forum members on the main menu of the forum.  Come take a peek.

The forum will be unavailable for a brief time on Tuesday, 27-May-08, so don’t worry if you get a message saying there’s maintenance going on.  We’ll be adding a new gallery for your creations and a database for links as well as updating some of the themes..

A second challenge has been issued for the International Day of Femslash — this one for uber based on the J/7 pairing. The idea of pervy twistedness is in the potential abuse of power by the Janeway character in pursuing a sexual encounter with the young impressionable Seven character.
